I love the outdoors, camping, hiking, the whole bit. That is why every Saturday night in 2012 I am going to sleep outside, regardless the weather. This is an activity that I see as fun and challenging. During my 52 nights off ground, I will do a run down of the gear that i am using, as well as the weather conditions.

For those of us who spend more time making gear for hiking through the outdoors, and thinking about hiking through the outdoors, than actually hiking through the outdoors. Река Тетерев в пик жары. Вчера положил спальник в ПЭТ-мешок и накрылся. Было тепло, но неудобно. Тут усилился ветер и стал трепать палатку и брызгать конденсатом с ее стенок. Я расстроился, что все намочу, но оказалось, что это ветер перемен.

Thursday, February 4, 2010. I found this picture a while ago, and I just stumbled across it while editing photos for the last post. It amuses me, since I work on both sides of cancer.
